When of my worst minor annoyance is my lack of focus
I can write something, and then completely lose what i'm doing.
Another annoyance is that i still can't find a website or source of information that is actually worth using, considering i already know my topic, i already know what i'm writing about, and i already know how to write.

well insted of hanging around you really should focus on your topic, like there might not be sources where you can site the information but you can look at books that relate to your topic if there are zombies in it look at pet cemetary. horror books and what not thats something you can site sources. open your mind to the possibilities. its out there all you need to do is focus *nod*

Well, as for looking for information and what not, you could look up writing styles and techniques. Instead of looking into something relating to what your writing, read something compleatly different.. In doing so, you can focus more on the writing style used rather than adapting or taking a plot idea from it.
You might have a bit more luck asking Ms.Savido... I'm not much of a help to Casey either, but then again, she has more things to search for since she's working on modernizing a fairy tale....
I don't know if it helps, but she started to look into publishing... Researching it... and stuff...

and I seemed to have gotten better results by looking it up as "colour" xD
